Tuition terms

Fees. Lessons are $60 each for one subject, or $50 each when you take both E-Math and A-Math. You pay for the number of lessons scheduled that month on the class calendar: usually four ($240 for one subject, $400 for both), and five in some months ($300 or $500). Fees are in Singapore dollars and are paid by PayNow at the start of each month. There are no registration or material fees.

First lesson. Your first lesson has no commitment to continue. Trying one subject costs $60. Trying both costs $50 a lesson ($100 for the two). If you carry on, you pay for the remaining lessons that month. If you tried one subject and then sign up for both, the whole month is charged at the two-subject rate and your $60 is deducted.

Joining mid-month. You pay only for the lessons remaining that month.

Stopping lessons. No notice is needed. Simply don’t pay for the next month. Fees already paid are non-refundable, except where I agree otherwise in writing.

Missed lessons. Each class runs twice a week. If you miss your usual slot, you can attend the other slot in the same week. Make-ups can’t be carried into another week, and missed lessons aren’t refunded or credited.

If I cancel a lesson. I will offer a replacement lesson on the class’s other slot that week. If you can’t attend it, the lesson is credited to your next month’s fee.

Going away during school holidays. Tell me before you pay that month’s fee and I will reduce it for the lessons you’ll miss. I can’t adjust a month that has already been paid.

Changes. I’ll give at least 30 days’ notice on WhatsApp before changing fees or these terms.
