FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Answers about fees, lessons and the Verity practice portal.
For parents
How much are lessons, and how do I pay?
Group classes are $60 a lesson for one subject, or $50 a lesson per subject when you take both E-Math and A-Math. Most months have four lessons ($240 for one subject, $400 for both), and some have five ($300 or $500). There are no material fees or registration fees. Fees are paid at the start of each month via PayNow. See the tuition terms for the details. For 1-1 lessons, please message me.
Is there a trial lesson?
The first lesson is $60 for one subject, or $50 each if you try both, with no strings attached. If you continue, it counts towards your first month’s fee.
What happens if my child misses a lesson?
During the school term, your child can join the other slot for their class that week as a make-up.
What about school holidays?
If you’re going away during the holidays, let me know before paying that month’s fees and I’ll adjust them. Feel free to contact me if you have any concerns.
Which syllabus do you cover?
The latest MOE E-Math and A-Math syllabus for Sec 3 and Sec 4. From 2027, Sec 4 students sit the new Singapore-Cambridge Secondary Education Certificate (SEC) exam, which replaces the O-Levels. E-Math and A-Math are taken at G3, the same standard as O-Level.
Where are lessons held?
Online on Google Meet, so your child can join from home.
Are lessons recorded, and do students need their cameras on?
Lessons are not recorded, and cameras are optional. Parents are welcome to message me directly at any time.
For students
I’m weak at maths. Can I still join?
Yes! Lessons build your fundamentals step by step, and you’re encouraged to ask whenever you’re stuck. No question is too small.
What do I need for online lessons?
A laptop or tablet, a stable internet connection and a notebook. I provide all the lesson materials.
Can I ask questions after class?
