E-Math tuition

Online E-Math tuition for Sec 3 and Sec 4

Weekly online group classes for G3 Mathematics (E-Math) for the O-Level, and the SEC from 2027. Each lesson is 2 hours on Google Meet, and students can WhatsApp me whenever they get stuck between lessons. Fees are $240 a month for 4 lessons, or $400 a month together with A-Math.

Steady marks in E-Math come from steady practice

E-Math covers a lot of ground, from algebra and graphs to geometry, trigonometry, statistics and probability. Many questions mix topics, and the last question in Paper 2 asks students to apply maths to a real-world situation. Doing well comes from practising a little every week, so earlier topics don’t get forgotten by the time exams come round.

That’s hard to do alone. Over the years, I noticed that many students don’t practise between lessons because they don’t feel confident trying questions on their own, they can’t remember what was taught the week before, or they’re not sure how to structure their revision. In my classes, every topic is broken into small skills with worked examples, so students always know what to practise next, and they focus on understanding why each method works (not just memorising steps).

What we cover

The classes follow the latest MOE G3 Mathematics syllabus. Here’s the 2027 plan, in order.

Sec 3 E-Math: quadratic equations and inequalities, indices and standard form, coordinate geometry and graphs, trigonometry, radian measure, congruence and similarity, and the geometrical properties of circles, followed by revision for the end-of-year exams.

Sec 4 E-Math: sets, matrices, probability, statistics and vectors, followed by topical revision, prelim preparation and full-paper practice.

The full week-by-week timetable is on the Programmes page.

Choose one slot. If your child misses a lesson during the school term, they can join the other slot that week as a make-up. Lessons aren’t recorded, and cameras are optional.

Support between lessons

Students can WhatsApp me any time they’re stuck, so a question from Monday’s homework doesn’t have to wait until the next lesson. They also get full access to the Verity practice portal: daily E-Math questions by topic or mixed, a worked solution for every question, and progress tracking that parents can see too. Lesson notes, worksheets and the Verity resource bank (topical worksheets, past-year and prelim papers) are included at no extra cost.

2027 early bird: sign up by 31 Dec 2026 and the first month is $210 for one subject, or $350 for both.

The first lesson is $60 for one subject (or $50 each if you try both), with no strings attached, and it counts towards your first month’s fee if you continue.

Questions parents ask about E-Math

My child only takes E-Math, not A-Math. Is this class still suitable?

Yes. The E-Math class stands on its own, and many students take only E-Math.

My child’s E-Math grade dropped this year. Where do we start?

Usually with the topics that everything else builds on, like algebra and graphs. In the first lesson I’ll get a sense of which skills need work, and the practice portal helps show which topics are weaker.

Is E-Math changing with the new SEC exam?

From 2027, Sec 4 students sit the Singapore-Cambridge SEC exam instead of the O-Levels. E-Math is taken at G3, the same standard as O-Level. Each paper is 2 hours 15 minutes, as set out in the SEAB syllabus.
